Rare Level 42 Tracks......

Anyone who has known me for an extended period of time has heard me mention Level 42, one of the more talented bands to come out of the 1980s. Hailing from the UK, they first made an impact in America with the club hit Starchild, a staple in New York City, back in 1982. But it wasn't until 1985 when the band's biggest hit in America, Something About You, landed at No. 7 on Billboard's Singles Chart. The band followed suit in 1987 when Lessons in Love reached No. 14 and they became the opening act for both Madonna and Steve Winwood. They continued to ride their success in Europe through 1994, but never regained the popularity they had in the U.S. in the mid-1980s. Anyway, collected here are a number of great rare tracks from one of my favorite bands (due to release a new album in 2006):
