Ah, it seems I'm not the only fan of big colored bulbs, tinsel, color wheels, and other vintage holiday decorations. Looks like retro holiday items are back in style (and why shouldn't they be?):

No kidding. Don't forget the cardboard fireplace with plug-in orange light. My mom brought one home when I was three; by age eleven it had fallen apart. As tacky as it probably was, my mom bought it just for me and I loved it! Would actually buy one for my own kids.
I was thinking of picking up some of those old cardboard and felt houses for under the tree. My Grandparents had them and I thought they were the coolest things growing up.
