For those of you looking for an intro for your holiday CD mixes this year, here is something many of you will fondly remember (if you were a kid of the 1970s / 1980s that is). The classic "CBS Special Presentation" montage that came before any Christmas special. When you saw this as a kid, you knew Rudolph and Frosty were about to appear. Morton Stevens, who composed the music for the promo, was a prolific film and television composer, most well known for his music for Hawaii Five-O.CBS Special Presentation Theme (Morton Stevens)

They are using an updated version of this bumper on the CW now. It was on tonight before Supernatural. CBS is taken out and it just says "A Special Presentation", but all else is the same. LOVE IT!
