Wow, I just grabbed this from CMJ, and it is amazing. Your Ex-lover Is Dead (Final Fantasy) by Canadian indie band Stars has a trippy, almost cinematic feel to it complete with muted piano, strings, orchestral fills, and a fantastic duet between male and female vocals. This could easily replace Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars as the new moody anthem for Grey's Anatomy. The song can be found on the new album, Do You Trust Your Friends which just came out yesterday and features a collection of remixed and reworked tracks from the band's last album, Set Yourself On Fire.
