Artist Spotlight: The Ting Tings

OK, I just can't get enough of these two. Sure, The Ting Tings have been making waves for a while now in their native U.K. (not too mention a few iPod commercials stateside) so many of you have at least heard Great DJ or Shut Up and Let Me Go (No. 55 on Billboard's Hot 100 last month) by now, even if you never caught the band's name. While they've released a few singles and an EP, the debut full-length We Started Nothing came out Tuesday and has to be the best new release of the year to date. The music is fun, infectious, and refreshingly original. I love, love, love, these guys. Grab the new album and bask in their audio greatness. Think Debbie Harry and Siouxsie Sioux reformulated for the iPod set.
