Irving Field's classic 1959 release, Bagels and Bongos, a groundbreaking disc which fused Cuban and Puerto Rican stylistics with Jewish rhythm, has just been re-mastered and released on CD for the first time via Reboot Stereophonic. This album was reviewed in last weekend's New York Times.
