Considering the source of that haloed stick figure to your left, I figured I'd post another radio episode featuring my favorite literary hero...
The Saint, created by author
Leslie Charteris. The
radio series ran in various forms with multiple actors from 1940 to 1951.
Vincent Price was the most well known actor, at least by the time he assumed the role in 1947. Of course, a pre-007
Roger Moore made The Saint a household name by the time he starred in the
TV series in the 1960s. While not as good as the original Charteris books, the Roger Moore series is a must see. As we speak, a new television series is supposed to be in the works, so as the end of each book used to declare: "Watch For The Sign Of The Saint, He Will Return..." In the meantime, here's one of the classic radio episodes featuring Vincent Price.
