Hailing from Washington, DC in the early 1980's, Crippled Pilgrims crafted some great post-punk indie rock that sounds quite contemporary by today's standards. Until recently, worn vinyl copies were scarce and in high demand by collectors. Parasol Records has collected the band's material and released Down Here: Collected Recordings (1983-1985). Below are two selections from the collection which first appeard on the blue vinyl Under Water LP in 1985, upon which time the band had already split.
