Another obscure 80s film reference today. While the film Electric Dreams was hardly memorable, the theme song went on to much greater success thanks to the brilliant collaboration between legendary producer Giorgio Moroder (Donna Summer, Blondie) and The Human League's Phil Oakey. While not a Human League song, it has been included on nearly all of the band's hits collections and frequently performed live (at least the two times I saw them that is). I never get tired of this track, and with EMP's remix of the song (as I've mentioned before, one of the best rising remixers out there) it continues to resonate through my sound system quite frequently.
