Another short, but sweet, post for today. This time we head to France for some cinematic-level electro lounge. Alif Tree released French Cuisine through Compost Records last year and reviews have been quite good. Belle features a moody, almost haunting orchestral vibe beneath female french vocals (sounds a bit like something that might be playing as a Daniel Craig 007 lurks through the dimly lit streets of Paris). paul, i hate to hijack your post, but you are the only blog i can find that has posted with any kind of meaningful comment about cherrybomb (jenny galt's band). i cannot get my hands on any of her music. do you know of anywhere i can buy/download some of her tracks. tks. again, sorry about the off-topic question.
