All I could say was "wow" when I heard this super-moody cover version of Joy Division's Love Will Tear Us Apart. That's right, Susanna trumps the gloom factor of the late Ian Curtis on this version (and that is a tough act to follow) which will have fans of Portishead and simillar artists jumping for joy. Norway's Susanna & The Magical Orchestra exude an almost ethereal darkness while constructing delicate, minimal gems of musical longing. Perfect music for a dimly lit room (from a country that spends a good portion of the year in total darkness). Be sure to check out the new album, Melody Mountain. Brilliant.Love Will Tear Us Apart
