When I was still working for CBS Radio, we did a waterfront concert in Hartford, Connecticut in conjunction with Vin Baker's Stand Tall Foundation. The highlight of the event was getting to see The Gap Band live! (A few weeks later I was hanging out backstage with Earth, Wind & Fire, but that's another story... and another amazing show). The Gap Band rocked the house and had everybody dancing like crazy drunken fiends. My favorite track has always been You Dropped A Bomb On Me, so I was thrilled to finally hear this one live. My favorite remix site, Digital Eargasm has posted a mildly updated version of this 1982 classic which is an ideal way to kick start a funky Friday...You Dropped A Bomb On Me "X-Mix"
