New Release Alert: Rooney

Well, its about damned time these guys decided to release their next album, as the major-label self-titled debut from 2003 was a real knock out. Rooney has been one of my favorites out the growing wave of California-based rock bands in the last several years. The musical hooks and catchy vocals are hard to ignore (and always a hit when I pop them in during summer DJ sessions). Based on the debut single of the new release, When Did Your Heart Go Missing, the four year wait between albums may have been well worth it. The new album Calling The World comes out July 17th.
