I always enjoyed Val Kilmer's early comedy work, especially Top Secret and Real Genius (the second of which had one of those fabulous never-released soundtracks). Among the collection of tunes was Chaz Jankel's (former member of Ian Dury's Blockheads) brilliant Number 1. One of my all time lost favorites of the 1980s.Number One (Chaz Jankel)
