Yesterday, Parasol Records released a repackaged deluxe double-disc version of Richard Lloyd's (Television guitarist) 1985 solo album, Field of Fire. On CD for the first time ever, the album includes several previously unreleased tracks on the second disc, which is essentially an alternate take on the original release. The All Music Guide raves about the new release as a must have for all Lloyd and Television fans alike. Below is the title track (which reminds me a bit of The Smithereens) for this great guitar-driven album. This is just the type of tune I'd be playing on 99.1 The Sound in North Carolina if I was still on the air down there. If you need some vintage, NYC art-punk, this is just what the doctor ordered.Field of Fire
