This is quite cool news for fans of Dr. Who and the old BBC Radiophonic Workshop. David Butler, of Manchester University's School of Arts, Histories and Cultures has revealed for the first time the existence of 267 tapes found in Delia Derbyshire's attic when she died in 2001 including a cutting edge dance track from the late 1960s which Paul Hartnoll, of Orbital says sounds "quite amazing" and "That could be coming out next week on [left-field dance label] Warp Records," he noted. You can read more about the historic finds and listen to samples of tunes which may be headed for a CD release on the BBC News website. Until the new CD is unveiled, here is a cool track of hers from 1966 featuring Anthony Newley on vocals called Moogies Bloogies.Moogies Bloogies - Courtesy of Delia-Derbyshire.org

Amazing track.
It reminds me, in a way, the sounds effects used by the french composer François de Roubaix in some of his personal works.
This is so inventive.
